Add the following line to the end of your httpd.conf file to disable caching of your html, htm, js, css files by browsers.

It is usually located under: /etc/httpd/conf/

<filesMatch "\.(html|htm|js|css)$">
  FileETag None
  <ifModule mod_headers.c>
     Header unset ETag
     Header set Cache-Control "max-age=0, no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate"
     Header set Pragma "no-cache"
     Header set Expires "Wed, 11 Jan 1984 05:00:00 GMT"
  </ifModule>
</filesMatch>

This is very useful if you are on a development environment and don’t like to clear the data of your browser for whatever reason. I personally find this very convenient when working with mobile browsers since they lack the settings to disable caching.
